I'm the first one to tell you I don't know everything. It's one of the reasons I'm always experimenting, to see what happens "IF". When I get great results, I write it down. When I get terrible results, I start looking for other ways to improve on things.
I spent my morning looking up the definitions of Calzones and Pasties (Pasty), I had the leisure of doing so as my Husband made breakfast for us. YAY!
In essence, A "Calzone "is a Pizza which is folded over and baked, a "Pasty" is a Meat Pie or Meat Turnover, what I call a Pocket. I have had Cornish Pasties when living in the UK, they were enjoyable, again, nothing like I had eaten in the past and an opportunity for me to experiment with different variations. I make "pockets" using pie pastry, and it's a similar idea.
It's Valentine'sDay today, which is why I was spoiled with breakfast and our evening meal will be anything my husband wishes to eat, which means chicken legs. I'll be planning a few meals I can trade with as well.
I have lean ground pork available and more cooked chicken I'm defrosting for lunch meat during the week. I'll be reserving a little of both to create variations of both Calzones and Pasties, my way.

The Calzone and Pasty recipes will require my Thin Crust Pizza Dough Recipe. It's not as "Bready" as a regular Basic White Bread.

I'm still Trading and may post on that occasionally, if it's not a repeat of something I have already accomplished. I'm hoping you get the basic idea, sharing and trading helps everyone out. and saves a few dollars
